CPFI at UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy We're a group of pharmacy students seeking to learn more about God, each other, and how to put our faith into practice, both personally and professionally.

We meet every Monday at 12pm in Beard 102. Looking for a refreshing way to start off your weeks? Interested in finding out how the Bible can apply to our lives today? Bring your lunch and come check us out every Monday at 12pm in Beard 102. VTC is available for students at ECSU and UNC-A.

Free dinner tomorrow!! This Friday, April 5th 7-9pm the area wide dinner is at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Erwin Rd. Durham. Dr Warren Kinghorn will be speaking on "10 Ways that Christian Faith Matters for Health Care." They will also be praying for the graduating students so be sure to come out and support and enjoy dinner!

Dr. Kinghorn is a psychiatrist whose work centers on the role of religious communities in caring for persons with mental health problems and on ways in which Christians engage practices of modern health care. Jointly appointed within Duke Divinity School and the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences of Duke University Medical Center, he is co-director of the Theology, Medicine, and Culture Initiative and is a staff psychiatrist at the Durham VA Medical Center.

Hey Guys!!

Really special meeting this week! We are collaborating with the Asheville branch of CPFI.

Dean Scott and Dr. A will be speaking this Tuesday, March 19th at noon. Their topics include finding your path and making decisions outside of pharmacy school. It is a wonderful opportunity to hear some wise insight and see our Asheville peers!!

In Chapel Hill we'll be in Beard 106 to listen in together. We're bringing snacks, so be sure to tell us your favorites! (or any dietary needs :) )

Hello CPFI!

REMINDER: We're meeting on TUESDAY instead of Monday this week due to PY1 Town Hall.

So our meeting will be at 12 PM on Tuesday 3/12 in Beard 214A. I'm excited to see each and every one of you!

TONIGHT! November 9th – Friday 7pm – TCMDA dinner. This is a relaxed night with free food, worship and fellowship with our peers and medical professionals (dentists, doctors and pharmacists). It’s a great chance to meet experienced professionals with a Christian perspective. I really enjoy each time I get to go, and they only happen a few times a year, so I really hope everyone can come! Hi CPFI!
Our next bible study meeting is tomorrow Monday, September 10th at 12:00-12:50pm in Beard 214A

I am super excited to meet new friends and see old ones. We want to take this year to focus on fellowship and community with God and with each other. Please come see us if it is your first time or you have been before. We want everyone to come and feel comfortable.

So, there will be brownies. 😊

We will be going over 1 Corinthians 1:1-11, with time to talk and get to know each other too.

"For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ." 1 Corinthians 1:5

Come be part of a community and share our burdens and joys with each other.

TCMDA dinner tonight! Meet Christian medical professionals of all ages with great (free) food!

Triangle Christian Medical and Dental Associations (TCMDA) is hosting us on September 7th at 7pm for fellowship, FREE yummy dinner, worship and a discussion time. They are gathering all of TCMDA members and friends from Duke, UNC and Campbell for a time to network, be encouraged and see what others are doing as they live out the reality that “Medicine is Ministry”. If you’ve never been, please join us, make some new friends and perhaps run into some old ones.

They will have a presentation from Project Fight and tell about one of their newer initiatives that assists those rescued from human trafficking in our area.
