Progress always feels slow when you’re living in it.

Day to day?
It feels the same.
Like nothing’s changing.

But zoom out.

On Monday:
❌ Weightlifting shoes
❌ Limited ankle + knee ROM
❌ 7–8/10 pain just attempting
❌ Squatting an empty bar (and also an air-squat) was impossible without pain while hitting my normal range of motion

This morning:
✅ 40 minutes of targeted prep + rehab
✅ Regular training shoes
✅ Empty barbell
✅ 80–85% normal
✅ Almost no shift

That’s progress.

Rehab rarely feels dramatic.
It feels repetitive. Boring. Slow.

That’s why I have my athletes journal.
Not for hype — for proof.

Objective checkpoints > emotion.

If you’re frustrated with how slow things feel, zoom out.
