🌊 2 weeks to go!! 💙

Our Board Chair David Walmer alongside an incredible group of supporters—Mimi, Dee Dee, and Jane—are taking on an inspiring challenge to help bring life-saving care to women in rural Haiti.

On May 17th, they’ll attempt a 6-mile open-ocean swim from Cancun to Isla Mujeres 🏊‍♀️—a powerful symbol of the courage, resilience, and hope that defines the community we serve.

They are so close to reaching their fundraising goal of $15,000🎯
Every dollar brings us one step closer to opening our new surgical suite and transforming access to care.

🌱🌍 Happy Agriculture Day! 🌍🌱

Today we’re celebrating more than just crops—we’re celebrating growth, sustainability, and the power of community. Our garden in Haiti is doing just that: providing fresh, nourishing food and creating opportunities that last far beyond harvest season. 🌿🥕

Join us today in honoring Haiti's farmers, workers, and agricultural heritage.🌾

Meet Christaline, Daphnee, and Migraine—three women showing up every day to care for the women in their community. 💚

In a country where mothers face the highest maternal mortality rate in the Western Hemisphere, their work is helping change the story for women in our community.

This International Women’s Day, stand with them in the fight for safer pregnancies, healthier mothers, and stronger communities by:

1. Sharing this video with your friends and family
2. Sponsoring a Birth! https://one.bidpal.net/donatetofhm/browse/donation(details:item/8)

Thank you for partnering with us to make the world a better place for women.🌍

🎉 As we celebrate our clinic’s 10-year anniversary, we’re stepping into an exciting new chapter!

We’re proud to share that our clinic’s name is changing from the Carmelle Voltaire Women's Health Center to the Carmelle Voltaire Family Health Center. ✨

This new name reflects the heart of who we are today — caring not only for women, but for the entire Tom Gato community and surrounding areas. 🤍

While our core services — labor and delivery support, pre- and post-natal care, and HPV testing — remain the foundation of our work, our reach has grown. We now offer hypertension care and pediatric services, expanding our commitment to care for every stage of life. 👶🏽🩺

Here’s to the next 10 years of serving, growing, and caring — together. 🎊

10 years. Countless lives touched. One incredible legacy.

Today we celebrate a decade of care at the Carmelle Voltaire Family Health Clinic— proudly named in honor of Sister Carmelle Voltaire, whose impact continues to guide our mission every day.✨

Sister Carmelle is healthcare in our community and because of her, hope continues to grow every single day. Here’s to 10 years— and to many more ahead!

We have a very exciting announcement!!!🥁

The Carmelle Voltaire Family Health Center is officially offering pediatric care!🥳👏🏼🙌🏼With many families fleeing from Port-au-Prince to our community, this couldn’t have happened at a more pressing time.

From a mission trip in 1993 to now adding on a surgical unit to our clinic! We didn’t know what we were getting ourselves into 30+ years ago but we’re so excited to see how far we’ve come. We can’t wait to have this surgical suite open for our community!

January 12, 2010.
A day Haiti will never forget.

The earthquake devastated communities like Fondwa—where homes, churches, schools, health centers, water systems, and decades of community development were destroyed in seconds. Families were left without shelter, food, or care, and lives were tragically lost.

Today, we remember Fondwa.
We honor resilience and we recommit to walking alongside Haiti’s communities in healing and hope.
