UNC Alpha Epsilon Delta is a pre-health honors society for students of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After being accepted, students are considered pledges for two semesters. If all requirements are met, these students will then become official members of the UNC AED chapter. Members of AED are expected to maintain a certain GPA, participate in club events, and volunteer outside
of the organization. UNC's AED chapter provides a very large amount of wonderful opportunities for its members. We partner and volunteer with MedWorld, take visits to local professional schools, and often have guest speakers at meetings that can become invaluable connections to students. We host an annual health fair at UNC that features resources from schools and institutions across the nation. We also participate in many school functions throughout the year. We are also a group that enjoys spending time together, with various social events such as retreats, formals, movie nights, and more. UNC AED is a phenomenal way to obtain experiences in many fields that students would not be able to find anywhere else.
