One in five children in North Carolina faces food insecurity. If SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits run out, as they are currently scheduled to do, kids will be disproportionately affected by this decrease in funding. Food banks and pantries are already seeing a 20-60% increase in demand. If you are able, please consider donating to one of the important facilities in this area. We are collecting for through the end of October. Please feel free to drop off any nonperishable items in our office lobby.
If you need food assistance, please contact regional organizations that offer support.

When your child is sick, urgent care might seem like the quickest option -- but your pediatrician’s office is where the best care happens. 💙

We know your child’s health history, track their growth and vaccines, and follow up to be sure they’re truly better. Plus, our providers are specially trained in pediatrics --something that’s not always true at urgent care centers.

That’s the power of a medical home -- care that’s personal, connected, and designed just for kids. 🩺

Chapel Hill Children and Adolescents' Clinic is a site for an exciting early screening validation study that promises to be more accurate than existing screening tests. Our 18-month-old patients may participate in this study for autism spectrum disorders through our CHADIS screening platform in our portal. Families may be contacted both as a control or if the screening test suggests that further evaluation would be helpful. Early identification enables the implementation of early services if needed. And, families can earn $200 for participation. Information about the study is sent as a virtual flyer when the screening test is sent to the parents/caregivers.
