What drives my art? It's all the complex emotions and moments in my life. Where words don't feel enough.

When my hands, brushes, or palette knives meet the canvas it's an intimate snapshot of myself.

I was angry, truly upset when painting ' Resilient.' And as I played with the paint and colors it evolved to expose my true nature. My inner calm in the storm or frustration, betrayal, and chaos of things outside my control.

I chose reflective and iridescent blues and purples to convey my energy.

As I evolve with my life, these snapshots will too. My art will grow with me. And when I am old it will be like a picture book of who I was and who I am.

I am grateful to share my stories with those who see my work and pause, reflect, and connect to it.

I truly believe that creating from the heart and soul is what brings people together. It is this reason why art is so important to me and to humanity. ❤️

'Endless Choices' took me months to complete. I kept getting stuck, impatient, and uncertain how it would come out (kinda like life as a human).

Then finally, the day before Open Studio Hartford, I finished it! And it's proudly hanging on the walls for the show.

🌿 It's a whimsical, silly, and playful story of being human. 🪷

All the little human-beans are my thumbprint 🫆 all just trying to keep going in the crazy tangled jungle like scene.

Each day we make new choices to help us on our path, and they truly are endless. Keep playing with life, especially on the hard days, and just see how far you can go!

Open Studio Hartford is off to an amazing start! I've had the pleasure of meeting amazing artists and collectors. People of all walks of life are coming together to appreciate art! 🎨

This is truly a moment of deep gratitude...I only started showing my art in May of 2025! Now, I'm a full-time artist and traveling all over Connecticut (and more) to share my art and stories ❤️

I am beyond grateful for all who have supported me, who've seen me cry, succeed, and grow...this seed is just starting to sprout 🌱

I am SO happy for choosing what I love and sharing my dreams of being an artist 🖼️

This is a heavy piece...one I haven't even found the right words to describe. Which is ironic given the piece is about my trauma of being silent from all different forms of emotional and physical abuse...

Art is and always will be my way of healing and sharing my story.

This is my first, and possibly last, self portrait.

In the near future, I'll find the right words to tell this one's story. For now, it is my way of moving forward with grace, beauty, and intention. 💙
