Thrive Acupuncture

Thrive Acupuncture Thrive Acupuncture is a full service holistic healthcare clinic specializing in chronic pain, women? Janna Siegel, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.

Thrive Acupuncture is the manifestation of an exploration of the benefits of feeling good. Be it physical or emotional, our happiness is compromised when we experience pain or discomfort. From your first consultation, we will work together to identify the areas of your health you seek to change and the origin of these imbalances. Drawing from Chinese medicine and other Eastern holistic medicinal therapies, including acupuncture, herbal formulas, nutritional counseling, bodywork, and yoga, we will address these concerns, restoring the body to it’s optimal state of wellness and working to maintain this equilibrium long after your treatments are complete. At Thrive Acupuncture, the emphasis is on the individual, with focus on creating lasting change from the inside out. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all health care, nor do I believe that physical health is separate from mental health. I do believe that real change requires adaptability and commitment, and addressing problems at the root will heed the best results. As the body transforms, so do the healing techniques I apply. My goal as a practitioner is to give you the most comprehensive care possible, working within the realistic parameters of your lifestyle and my abilities. If your curiosity is piqued, take the first step and schedule your appointment today. I am a licensed acupuncturist in the state of New York, a certified diplomate with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and hold a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City. My training includes acupuncture, herbal medicine, tuina (therapeutic body work), Eastern nutrition, and various other complimentary healing modalities. I have undergone two separate certifications for sexual assault and violence intervention counseling. I am also a 500-hour certified, registered yoga teacher. Using traditional Chinese medicine as the foundation, I draw from my multi-disciplinary background to address the specific needs of each patient and provide a holistic and comprehensive treatment plan focusing on long-term health goals.

Just because it's common, doesn't mean you have to just live with it. In fact, in TCM your period symptoms are indicators of underlying imbalances that can be addressed to bring all kinds of relief. If you are spending half of the month dealing with menstrual-related issues, we'd love to show you what is possible.

Hello Spring! We've been waiting for you. 🌺
The spring equinox is a pivot point in TCM theory into the yang cycle of the seasons. It is the beginning of a time of warmth, light, vision, action and creation. A time to to make good on all of those ideas we've been ruminating about during our winter hibernation. A time to lay the groundwork and start making moves toward whatever we would like to bring forward into our lives these next 6 months.
Just as we've been anxiously awaiting for the weather to turn and nature to awaken from her slumber and dazzle us with her magic, the world is waiting on us to do the same.
Ready or not, it's go time! 🌷

Do you ever feel like healthcare is a choose your own adventure? Or worse, dictated by when a busy facility is able to squeeze you in for a 10 minute appointment 6-8 months after you call, with a provider who is not allowed the time to get to how you?
With health & healing, timing is everything, and with acupuncture specifically, the effects are cumulative, meaning the more you do up front, the faster and more lasting the results.
At Thrive, we take the time to get to know you, create a comprehensive plan that's devised to get results, and have the flexibility to adjust based on what you actually need.
If this sounds like the kind of approach you've been looking for, let's have a conversation and see if acupuncture is right for you!

Have you ever stopped to think about the bargaining you do with yourself? The mentality of 'earning' often creates a conundrum where the 'reward' becomes lower on the priority list than the task, creating scarcity instead of abundance. What if when we were tired, we chose rest?
