The funeral service and burial for Gerald "Jerry" Jones has been postponed until tomorrow, Tuesday, December 30, 2025. All other times and locations will remain the same, just 24 hours later.

Gerald “Jerry” Jones, 81, of Rudd, Iowa, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025 at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Rudd United Methodist Church in Rudd, Iowa with Pastor Lumiere Kapend officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Volga, Iowa.

Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2025 at the Rudd United Methodist Church in Rudd, Iowa with Pastor Lumiere Kapend officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Volga, Iowa.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City, Iowa and continue one hour before the service at the church on Monday.

Stanley “Stan” Marvin Goddard, 94, of Charles City, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025, at the 9th Street Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City.

A funeral service for Stan Goddard will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City with Pastor Paul Phillips from the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Floyd officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service on Saturday at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home.

Linda Ann Hansen, of Charles City, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2025, surrounded by her cherished family.

A visitation and memorial service will be held on Monday, December 22, at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., beginning with praying of the Rosary at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will continue an hour prior to the funeral Mass on Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

A funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, December 23, at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Charles City. The family warmly invites you to a luncheon in Linda’s honor at the Immaculate Conception Social Hall following the burial.

Connie Bengtson, 75, of Charles City, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral Mass for Connie Bengtson will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charles City with Reverend Tom Heathershaw officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Charles City.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the funeral Mass at the church on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent to the Nashua-Plainfield Community School District Music Department.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City and continue one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
