Raymond Calvin Vandeventer, Jr. 78, of Charles City, Iowa died in a house fire at his home in Charles City on April 6, 2026.

Joann Vandeventer, 55, of Charles City, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020, at the MercyOne New Hampton Medical Center in New Hampton.

A memorial service celebrating both Raymond and Joann will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at The Bridge Church in Charles City. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

The family also wants to thank the community for the outpouring of love and support they have received during this time of loss.

A funeral service for Jeannine Mills will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Charles City with Pastor Don Preston officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City and continue one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday.
