I would like to recognize Beth Free for her outstanding commitment and compassionate care. Beth went above and beyond when she treated my father-in-law at his home in St. Stephen. Although his address was outside the usual service area for Home PT, she made the special effort to visit him for two weeks because he was my relative. Thanks to Beth’s care, by the time he returned to the doctor for staple removal, he had regained good range of motion. Dr. Kupferman was pleased with his progress, and my father-in-law himself expressed that he would not be where he is today without her help. In the early stages, his pain was overwhelming and greater than he expected, but Beth’s intervention and encouragement made all the difference. Beth’s compassion, professionalism, and willingness to go beyond expectations exemplify the true spirit of service and make her deserving of this Acts of Service Award.

The holidays are full of joy, but they can also bring extra stress on your body. Here are a few quick tips to keep you moving comfortably all season long:

✅ Lift Smart – When carrying heavy shopping bags or luggage, bend your knees and use your legs instead of your back.

✅ Stretch Often – Long car rides or hours in the kitchen? Take short breaks to stretch your shoulders, back, and legs.

✅ Watch Your Posture – Whether wrapping gifts or scrolling for deals, sit tall and keep your spine supported.

✅ Stay Active – Balance out holiday treats with a walk, light exercise, or family activities.
