I got to learn from two masters in the chiropractic realm, Wade Port and Jim Deegan, and I am forever changed from this weekend.

Most people don’t realize this, but your nervous system doesn’t change from one adjustment. It changes from repetition.

Your neck doesn’t just hold your head up. 
It tells your body whether it’s safe to relax. 

When this is done correctly, there should be very minimal twisting, and done from a place of ease, not force. 

The goal is to improve the signal from your neck to your brain. 

When that signal improves, your body can finally exhale. 

That can help: 
• Reduce that neck hump pattern 
• Ease constant tension 
• Improve sleep 
• Calm a nervous system that’s been stuck in fight or flight 

Most people don’t realize their neck is often times the reason they’re tired, wired, and never fully relaxed.

We started with a thorough exam on her first visit. 

Figured out exactly what was going on, what we needed to do, and went over a realistic timeline/gameplan. 

She’s been so consistent, and when you’re consistent, your body has an incredible intelligence to adapt and function better. 

Hairstylists especially have one of the most difficult jobs (I’m married to one 😅)

Most people think their symptoms just started. 

The truth is, it usually doesn’t happen overnight. 

X-rays show posture and stress patterns that have often time been there for years,.

Even if you’ve only felt symptoms for weeks or months. 

That’s why guessing doesn’t work. 

Because what you’re feeling now usually started a long time ago. 

A fall you shook off as a kid. 

A car accident in your teens/20s that “wasn’t a big deal.” 

Years at a desk, forty hours a week, head forward, shoulders rounded. 

Your body adapts. 

Until one day it can’t anymore.
