We had lots of exciting things happen the last week of October!🥳💙The CDS students and faculty all wore pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month!🩷 We celebrated our October birthdays!🎂🎈And we had lots and lots of fun for Halloween (more picture to come!)🎃

October is AAC awareness month! Some of our students stood outside the clinic to help educate fellow EIU students on what AAC is!💙🧠

AAC stands for Augmented Alternative Communication! AAC can include sign language, core boards, gestures, facial expressions, vocalizations, written/typed information, or high-tech/low-tech devices!

Communication come in many forms- and all of them matter. Supporting AAC users this month and every month!💙
