Your emotions feel like they last forever…
But the actual chemical stress response in your body? About 90 seconds.

After that… it’s your thoughts keeping it alive…

So here’s the move…

When you feel triggered, overwhelmed, or ready to snap..

Don’t react..
Don’t text..
Don’t make a decision..

Do this instead…

Sit still…
Breathe slow…
Inhale through your nose…
Exhale longer than you inhale…

Give your body 90 seconds to calm down…

That’s it…You don’t need to fix your whole life.
You just need to not make it worse in the next minute and a half….

• It’s moving fast and feels “meant to be”
• You’re skipping meetings, routines, or priorities for them

• You’re oversharing everything way too soon

That’s not stability…

Because recovery isn’t just about not picking up.
It’s about not abandoning yourself when everything feels loud…

It’s…
• saying “give me a minute” instead of reacting
• leaving before you’re drained instead of staying to prove something
• not answering texts just because your anxiety says you have to
• choosing peace… even when it feels unfamiliar

Your nervous system has been in survival mode for a long time…

Of course calm feels weird…
Of course boundaries feel uncomfortable…

That doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong…

It means you’re doing something different…

And different is where the healing starts…
