Red flags in early recovery don’t always look toxic…
sometimes they feel like connection…
Watch for this…
• It’s moving fast and feels “meant to be”
• You’re skipping meetings, routines, or priorities for them
• You feel anxious when they pull back
• You’re oversharing everything way too soon
• You’re ignoring your gut because you “don’t want to lose them”
• Your peace feels shaky… but you’re calling it love
That’s not stability…
That’s your nervous system getting hooked on familiar chaos…
Real connection in recovery feels like:
• slow
• safe
• consistent
• peaceful
