🚨 Now Open: Westbrook C.A.R.E. Center 🚨

Starting Monday, January 5, Westbrook Health Services is opening the C.A.R.E. Center (Crisis Access, Recovery, Engagement)—a new walk-in support space for adults experiencing a behavioral health crisis at our 2121 7th St. facility in Parkersburg.

✨ What is the C.A.R.E. Center?

A calm, welcoming, non-medical environment inspired by the crisis living room model—designed to help people de-escalate, feel supported, and get connected to the right level of care.

đź•— Hours:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

➡️ Hours may expand in the future as community need is assessed.

📍 Who can visit:

• Adults 18+
• Able to contract for safety
• Ambulatory and independent in daily activities
• Safe in a non-medical setting

đź’¬ Services include:

• Crisis assessment & intervention
• Peer Recovery Support
• Referrals and warm hand-offs to additional services

👥 Do you have to be a Westbrook client?

No. Anyone can walk in to request support, learn about services, or receive a crisis assessment.

🤝 Why it matters:

The C.A.R.E. Center increases access to behavioral health services and helps divert low-acuity emergency department and law enforcement calls to a more appropriate, supportive setting.

📣 Help us spread the word!

If you, someone you love, or someone you serve could benefit from a calm place to get support—the C.A.R.E. Center is here.

đź’™ Community focused. People driven.

Thank you to Parkersburg Area Community Foundation for helping fund the launch of this vital program!
