💉 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱?
Everyone is different which means everyone will need a different amount. Every person has their own unique wrinkles and lines, everyone has a different reduction of collagen, and some people’s muscles are stronger than others. The amount used is determined on a case by case basis and our injectors will guide you. Remember, dose equals duration. So you can do less to give it a try or stay within your budget but you have to have realistic expectations and recognize it may not work as well or last as long. The FDA approved dose for the glabella, forehead lines, and crows feet is 64 units for perspective.

🧪 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲𝘀?
While there are some distinct differences between Neurotoxins (they are all made by different vendors with unique selling points), we find that the vast majority of our patients are unable to discern any or much difference between them once injected. But different patients have different needs, that’s why we carry them all. This patient used Xeomin.

👎 𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱?
Yes, avoid exercise and alcohol for 24 hours and do not lie flat for about 4 hrs. And lastly, try not to rub the neurotoxin around the treated area. It’s best to avoid putting any excessive pressure on the treated area for the first few days. So don't leave our office and go get a massage.
