π Employee Spotlight: Christian Dingess, PRSS π
We are proud to spotlight Christian Dingess, PRSS, who joined the Mountain State Recovery Center team in October 2024 and brings more than four years of peer support experience to our program. Christian has worked in both inpatient treatment and outpatient MAT settings, and he continues to use his journey, compassion, and dedication to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.
Christian has been sober since November 22, 2013, after years of struggling with oxycontin, opana, and co***ne. He credits a period of incarceration as the moment that forced him to face the reality of his addiction. After getting out, he relapsed when his parole ended and began using Roxyβs, but eventually found the strength to get clean again. From there, his life took a powerful turn.
Christian began working as a professional musician and performed with several artists, including studio session work. In 2017, he accepted a job with Logan Mingo Mental Health, which opened the door to the behavioral health field. When COVID hit in 2020, he continued his work at Anchor Point as a Behavioral Health Technician, and that experience ignited a passion for helping others in recovery. He then pursued his path as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist, knowing he had found his calling.
His favorite part of being a PRSS is working with patients one on one and being part of their transformation, progress, and healing. Christianβs experience, empathy, and dedication make him an incredible asset to the MSRC team, and we are grateful to have him.
