I’ve been collaborating with an amazing Occupational Therapist Patti Daniel on ways to bring community together and teach the things we love and know can help people at a low cost$

We are planning to start a mindfulness group where we will share various techniques to help you gain clarity, reduce stress and allow you to fill your cup!! Remember you can’t pour from an empty cup and when we fill our cup it overflows to those around us!! ☕️
So come fill your cup with us!!🌟
We are narrowing down the details and would love your input on days and times that could work best for you…. 🤔

Join Us for NAMIWalks – Together for Mental Health
The funds raised through NAMIWalks stay right here in our community. They make it possible for NAMI to answer Helpline calls for neighbors in need, to provide free support groups for individuals living with mental health conditions and their loved ones, and to spread much-needed awareness and education. The need has never been greater—and together, we can rise to meet it.
On October 11, 2025, we’ll gather at Palmetto Islands County Park in Mt. Pleasant, SC to walk for hope, awareness, and change. This powerful event raises funds for NAMI’s top-rated programs while creating a safe and supportive space where people can connect, share their stories, and remember: You are not alone.
For me, this walk is deeply personal. My son, Alex, faced a short but difficult battle with mental health that tragically ended in suicide on December 10, 2019. During that time, NAMI became an incredible source of support, and now I walk to give back. I believe with all my heart that by building community, awareness, conversations, and connection, we can help each other through even the hardest moments.
That is why I have created a team for NAMIWalks. It’s my way of doing something powerful to advance Mental Health for All—and I invite you to join me. Whether you walk, donate, or simply help spread the word, your participation matters.
Together, we can:
• Break the stigma around mental health
• Share resources and education to guide people toward help
• Support families, friends, neighbors, and even strangers
• Remind each other that no struggle has to be faced alone
✨ Our circumstances may feel overwhelming, but they are not permanent. What is lasting is the strength we find in community. Let’s come together, lift each other up, and keep the conversation about mental health alive. Because healing takes all of us—it truly takes a village

Mt Shasta is a magical place!! If you haven’t been I highly recommend it!! I didn’t plan to go there but it called me. And I tried to say no… I can’t afford to go, I have too much to do, later would be better…… all the excuses.
But when I took the time to tune inward and quieted the monkey mind I heard my soul say yes please 🙏 this is exactly what you need right now. And so I trusted the process. Trusting That everything would be ok without my attention and I could allow myself to heal, explore and just be present in the moment 🌈✨🪽🏔️🌟💜🌹
I have delt with so many deaths and loses the past 5.5 years. I lost my son, mom, dad, aunt, uncle and close friends and family . And I also spent alot of my time trying to figure out how to help my oldest son who’s been struggling with mental health and addiction issues. 😭
Sometimes I wonder how I’m still doing it all. 🤔
But what I know is God will see us through it all even when we don’t see the way. So trust the process. Take the trip. Eat the cake. Cry. Play. Get angry. Enjoy this life. Because that is all we have is the present moment 💫
So BE PRESENT 🌟and live 😇💚✈️☀️⚕️🧘‍♀️🤸‍♂️
Life is a gift 🎁 Enjoy all of the feels 😃 😭🤬🤾‍♂️🥰
