Our first year DPT students spent the morning last Wednesday volunteering at various local organizations such as Meals on Wheels, Lowcountry Orphan Relief, Lowcountry Food Bank, and many others! Making a positive impact while serving outside the classroom right here in Charleston 🍎🏡

Our second years just finished their two week clinical rotation! 👏🥳 We are so proud of Cohort 3 and the amazing clinicians they are becoming! We are also incredibly grateful for our wonderful clinical partners and instructors for their time and commitment to our students. Now it’s back to the classroom until April, and then their first 10 week rotation! 🆙⏭️💙

And we’re back with the start of Spring semester here at CSU DPT! Our second years are off at their first clinical rotation for two weeks, while our first years are back on campus and in the classroom! We look forward to what this semester has in store for our students and everything they will learn! 👏📚🙌

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from CSU DPT! What a month full of joy December has been! We said farewell to the Class of 2025 and celebrated all of their accomplishments thus far! We are also reflecting on the wonderful birth of Savior, the greatest gift that mankind has ever received. We hope and pray that this season has been good to you and yours! 🎄❤️

We are grateful to have played a small part in their career journey, and we are proud of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to the profession. We love you, Cohort 2! What a busy month of November we have had here at CSU DPT! From a Thanksgiving (Friendsgiving) meal before we let out for the holiday, intramural football games, Stingrays hockey sponsored by PTSA, serving at RMHC, OCC box packing, and our donor memorial service with Dr. K, we have had our hands and our hearts full! We hope you have all had a wonderful time with family and friends, cherishing time spent together and reflecting on the things you are grateful for. We are thankful for our amazing faculty and students, their passion and work ethic, and their servants hearts, but most importantly, for our God who has given us the ability to steward and serve our community with love and humility. Happy Thanksgiving from CSU DPT family! 🦃🙏❤️🍂

In honor of Veterans Day this week, we want to especially recognize our very own veteran here at CSU DPT.

This is Mrs. Crystal Ford, a United States veteran, and a Charleston Southern alumnus, graduating with her degree in Kinesiology. She has been on our team as the Admissions Coordinator of the DPT program for two years.

Her service does not end there, though! She is a Master Sergeant (MSgt) and in the United States Air Force Reserves, graciously serving our country for 13 years. She works in Air Force Logistics and recently returned from a deployment overseas. If you ask, she will tell you she always knew that she would serve her country. We are thankful for her sacrificial service, and for her safe return to us last month. Thank you, Mrs. Ford, we love you! 🇺🇸💙
