Started with another new client this week…
This message was received after her first session 💚

My main goal is to make a connection with the family. To be an extra set of hands, helping their homes run more smoothly.

My goal is to lighten the load, not only physically, but emotionally!

As parents, we never get a break!
Even if it’s 10 minutes, a sigh of relief, I want each session to feel like it gave back time you didn’t know you had;)

Time that you’ll get to sit down with your children in the evenings without worrying about the laundry piles, the loaded dishwasher, finding certain paperwork, finding the missing shoe, changing the bedsheets, or locating your child’s favorite cup!

It’s my job to know your house just as good as you do! Instead of spending hours looking for something, you have an extra set of eyes keeping track of your stuff.

I get texted all the time asking where is a flashlight, a red hoodie, sports equipment, a picture that their child drew , etc…
Most times, I can answer it because I saw it during my session and put it in a safe place. Knowing that it’s something you may be looking for later.

A RESET is not just tidying a home… It’s helping even when I’m not there!
It’s a reset of life… A new normal for busy families 😜

Part 2 was clearing off the fence and the backyard!
We even recruited a new teenager!

With six people, four trips to the local recycling center, it took us about five hours start to finish.

Some ask, what do we do on the weekend…
Sometimes it’s relaxing, sometimes it’s getting life caught up, sometimes it’s vacationing and sometimes it’s giving back to the community!
We were asked to help two elderly women claim their yard space again.
With vines overgrown, trees needing trimming, leaves piled up, and it all closing in around them… We got to work!
With the help of some of our church men, we were able to clear a lot out of the front yard . They can now see the road from their porch while enjoying a nice cup of Joe.

Community projects like this used to be common in the youth when I was growing up. It’s a skill that I learned at a young age and it has helped me so much in my adult life. Learning to serve others without pay is a skill some fail to teach our youth now. I refuse to let my children feel entitled. I want them to learn from the older generation, serve those that have paved the way before them, and appreciate the sacrifices many have made. These are skills money cannot buy!

Taking on new clients, the week after Thanksgiving break, means very long days all week long💚

Didn’t enter one of my houses until 5 PM one day this week.

The house was busy, two kids and an infant, mom and dad trying to prepare dinner and settle in for the evening.

Upstairs, a room full of laundry scattered about trying to find PJs and necessary items for the rest of the week.

It was a typical Home scenario where life just seems to be too much! And time seems to be nonexistent to get everything done and be present for the children!

THAT’S WHERE I COME IN … As they enjoyed their dinner downstairs, I quietly handled all of the laundry upstairs . All folded and put away so the rest of the week could move more smoothly.

Upon my exit, Mom handed me a plate of lasagna and a dinner roll for my ride home 😉

It’s the little things like this that remind me why I do what I do! I am so appreciative of kindness that is given back to me, but the teamwork that I create with my families is something special!

It never feels like I’m working for them, but serving them so they can serve their children better!

I am a mom above all else ! That is my greatest opportunity in life! To give that time back to these parents to enjoy those precious moments with their children, makes every long night worth it!

And don’t worry, my teenagers were waiting on me when I got home for us to enjoy a late night of relaxing 😉

I was told, this week , that I was hired as a Christmas gift🎄

This mom and dad decided to gift each other with my services.

A recent move-in and a little one running about their feet, the house just doesn’t feel settled and completely functional yet.

They got my info from a neighborhood FB post, a long time client had made💚

The 1st task was simple… Find somewhere to put all of this clean laundry!

We started with the drawer space and closets that they already had designated for laundry and seen if it would all fit .

Of course it didn’t, so we had to adjust a few things!
-introduce my preferred folding method for items already put away
-assign new placement of certain clothing groups,
………and Walla🌟

Everything was able to be put away, and their clothing system, as they know it, is changing more and more, each visit💚

We have a whole house to go… And I can’t wait!
