At WVFI, we want our patients to understand the terminology of infertility. One of those terms is hypothalamic dysfunction. Hypothalamic dysfunction causes infertility by disrupting the brain's control over reproductive hormones which stops ovulation and menstruation.

We are closely monitoring upcoming winter weather conditions across West Virginia. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment due to inclement weather, please contact our office as soon as possible.
