We had a great day serving as a volunteer at the 2026 MUSC Senior Expo as a member of the Lowcountry Senior Network.

It was inspiring to see such a wide variety of trusted resources gathered in one place to support the large contingent of senior attendees. Being able to network with like minded professionals and community partners that are focused on healthy aging made the day even more fulfilling.

Kate has been added as a Senior Living Advisor at Oasis, which offers free, local, and personalized support for seniors in navigating the complex realities of aging in the Charleston, SC tri-county area.

Daugherty joins the company with more than 15 years of experience in senior living leadership, including serving as an Executive Director in the Charleston area. She holds a master’s degree in Gerontology, is a certified dementia practitioner, and is known for her culture-first leadership approach, strong team engagement, and unwavering commitment to senior advocacy.
