While we all have positive words about the community, the ones from those living here really hit home.

"I have lived here at Edgewood Summit for 6 years. My life is so much simpler now than when I was a homeowner. I do not have to worry about who is going to mow my lawn, fix my broken water pipes or whatever else is broken! We have an excellent staff of repairmen here who are available for all our needs and provide these services with a smile. My housekeeper comes once a week and does light housekeeping which includes changing the bed sheets. We have a nice dining room for dining and a menu for a 5-course dinner, with the choice of 3 entrées. I can stay as busy as I want to or read a book (from our well-stocked library) for as long as I want, the choice is mine. I appreciate the fact that IF I ever have the need for Assisted Living, Memory Care or Skilled Nursing, I have it here at Edgewood Summit. We are one big happy Family here, Staff and Residents. We Residents are blessed to have a caring staff who always have a smile for us. Come up and visit us, I think you will like what you see."

The activity calendars are always packed full around the holiday season! John Adams Middle School brought the musical cheer and Lee Dean Sings served up some fun with his Reindeer Game Night this week🦌 Special thanks to our activities department for always keeping us busy and entertained!

Edgewood Summit is partnering with The Salvation Army of Charleston for a Holiday Toy Drive to support local children in need. If you, your family, or visitor would like to make a contribution, donations will be accepted by the Marketing Office between December 1st - December 14th.

We will also be accepting donations at Santa's Workshop at Edgewood Summit on December 6th for any guests coming by to shop. A donation area will be set up in the lobby. Every toy makes a difference and are greatly appreciated by those in need 🎁

🦃💃 Gobble, wobble, and DANCE! Our annual Turkey Trot was a hit. Residents and friends came together for fun, laughter, and a whole lot of festive moves!

As we kick off the holiday season, we’re feeling extra grateful for our amazing Edgewood Summit community. Wishing everyone a happy, warm, and joyful Thanksgiving week!

Santa's Workshop at Edgewood Summit is just 16 days away! Our vendors are busy gearing up for another successful event. Be sure to mark your calendars 🎅

This year we are also partnering with the The Salvation Army for a Holiday Toy Drive to support local children in need. We would love for all in attendance to bring new, unwrapped toys as a contribution if able. A station will be set up in the lobby for donations. Let's make the holiday season bright!

🎃👻 Halloween was in full swing at Edgewood Summit last night! Our annual Halloween Palooza brought together employees, their kids, residents, and families for a night of spooky fun. Huge thanks to our Lifestyles Department for always hosting our favorite events!

It is time for the residents tomorrow to put on their costumes and join in the festivities for a spook-tacular afternoon. Check back in to vote for your favorite costumes!
