🎃👻 Halloween was in full swing at Edgewood Summit last night! Our annual Halloween Palooza brought together employees, their kids, residents, and families for a night of spooky fun. Huge thanks to our Lifestyles Department for always hosting our favorite events!

It is time for the residents tomorrow to put on their costumes and join in the festivities for a spook-tacular afternoon. Check back in to vote for your favorite costumes!

A great fall tradition here at Edgewood Summit. Residents enjoyed an evening with the Charleston Metro Band during the annual Edgewood Summit concert, held under a glowing harvest moon. S'mores were enjoyed too!

- Experienced with office or administrative work
- Outgoing personality

This position is ideal for a new grad seeking Marketing experience. It is full time, Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

When our amazing exercise instructor showed up in a boot after a recent foot surgery, residents showed up with their mixed matched tennis shoes to stand (literally!) in support. It might've looked funny, but the message was clear: we’ve got your back, boot and all! 💙 Here's to healing fast and keeping the energy alive here at Edgewood Summit no matter what!

We are a little late to post, but can you blame us? It’s the Wild Wild West over here at the Summit! 🤠

Last week, we saddled up and celebrated National Assisted Living Week with our favorite Ridgemont Residential Care residents and Arthur B. Hodges Center Memory Care residents. Our community transformed into a mini frontier town, and guess what? We struck a goldmine of wonderful residents and staff to make this week a rootin-tootin good time! A special thank you to Lee Dean Sings for coming out and giving our residents an outlaw country Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline show! 🔥

Our amazing activities team outdid themselves last week, and we would like to extend our gratitude to the direct care staff as well who make our residents lives much easier every single day! We cannot thank all of our staff enough for the impact they have, especially for our Assisted Living residents. 💞

We forgot to mention, but some of our staff members were arrested for having too good of a time! These lawbreakers were taken to the county jail (conference room 😅) for a serious time out and talking to.

This week, we celebrate the incredible and dedicated staff members of our maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry teams who ensure Edgewood Summit is safe, clean, and comfortable every day. Our team works tirelessly to ensure that what's broken gets fixed, all corners are clean and sparkling, and fresh linens are ready with care. They are what make our place more than just a community, they make it a home!
