The Institute for Dream Studies (IDS) provides educational and training opportunities in dreams, dreamwork and dream group leadership through lectures, workshops, and the Dream Certification Program. The Certification Program provides expertise in dreamwork and dream group leadership for professionals such as psychologists, counselors, health care workers, spiritual directors, social workers, life coaches, artists, and anyone seeking personal insight. ✨New Course! This presentation explores dreams of the bereaved and the grieving process through the lens of Alan Wolfelt’s Six Mourning Needs and the concept of grief as initiation. Drawing on dream research, case studies, and personal reflection, the presentation will examine several types of bereavement dreams, including visitation, archetypal, and nightmares.

Although this course is designed for mental health professionals, hospice nurses and social workers, chaplains, end of life death care workers, caregivers and professionals working with grief and loss, all are welcome to attend. Please join the Institute for Dream Studies in celebrating and welcoming our newly Certified Dreamwork Professionals! It has been an honor to witness their growth and transformation. The legacy they now carry is rich, radiant, and deeply needed in the world.

IDS held a deeply moving graduation ceremony for their 2025 cohort — marking the end of a luminous year of transformation, insight, and sacred community.

Throughout their year of studies, this devoted group of dreamers journeyed together through the highs and lows of life, yet always showing up with courage, presence, and heart. Their bond only deepened as they moved forward, one dream at a time. Never before have we witnessed such a beautifully diverse and international gathering—our students and mentors come together from 11 different countries (Bermuda, England, Ethiopia, Germany, Guatemala, Iran, Mexico, Pakistan, Russia, United Kingdom and the United States). The wealth of perspectives and the rich tapestry of cultures they brought to this work have been nothing short of extraordinary, lighting up our community with vibrant insight and boundless inspiration.

These graduates are the true visionaries, the warriors, mystics, the movers and shakers, the healers and alchemists, each bringing their own unique perspectives and gifts to the world. We are so thrilled for the people they will serve in their communities.

This special celebration featured guest speaker Robert Waggoner, a world renowned expert in lucid dreaming, who shared profound wisdom about the power of dreams and the journey of consciousness. We thank you, Robert!

A deep shout out and gratitude to our fearless IDS founder, Justina, Director, Linda, mentors extraordinaire, Isa, Sahlah and Ale. And always the past brilliant IDS graduates and the incredible guest faculty who offered their wisdom and generosity of time to our students. Without you all, this year would not be possible.
