Roper St. Francis Healthcare is hosting free colon cancer screenings on Thursday, March 12, in North Charleston for patients age 45 and older.

Providers will perform a digital re**al exam and test stool for blood. Patients who meet screening criteria may be scheduled for a follow-up colonoscopy, with financial assistance available for those who qualify.
