New myopia control method! Previously, myopia control was limited to contacts or atropine eyedrops. With the FDA approval and release of the Stellest lens, we have a new option for our young patients with progressing myopia.

Beautiful lunar halo visible tonight! This phenomenon is created when light, reflected by the moon, is refracted (i.e. bent) by ice crystals in the atmosphere.

Refraction is also how eyeglasses and contact lenses work to correct your vision!
