As much as I enjoy caring for the community, caring for my family is my top priority.

I’ve had the honor to learn & expand my knowledge of chiropractic to help children and their development. Giving my kids and any children I have the honor of working with the ability to reach their full potential & development is just an additional blessing I can offer.

One of my long term goals with my career is to help shift the medical model & see chiropractic as more of a primary care option. As Thomas Edison once said, “the doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest the patient in the care of the human frame, in diet & in the cause and prevention of disease.”

This starts in the early years of life and I pledge to do what I can to practice this standard.

Honored to continue my work with & the Peak Potential Institute this past weekend in Tampa.

Pediatric chiropractic is not the same as what is commercially advertised as chiropractic. Rather it is a systematic tracking of neurological indicators and patterns that the child presents with and looks to clear and balance these findings.

Parents can usually tell if their child has a problem or trouble, anywhere from recurring illnesses to learning deficits. The system I’ve been honored to study helps allow the child’s system to retune and rebalance in a way that can have a lasting impact for their years of growth and development. I’m honored to share this for anyone you know of in need.

This past May, I had the opportunity to complete a Pediatric Chiropractic certification.

The stigma of chiropractic is we solely move and pop joints of the body. What’s important to signify is the chiropractic adjustment fine tunes the nervous system and is done so in a variety of ways.

The pediatric nervous system is one that has an incredible ability to create new neural connections and adapt to the world. These pathways are made at such a rapid rate and lay the framework for how the child will interpret and behave as they continue to thrive.

It is important to enable and nurture these sensitive systems to give them the best potential to develop. By understanding specific neurological indicators and learning specialized techniques, many common childhood conditions have been able to be successfully treated and helped.

I’m proud and grateful to have this knowledge and look forward to serving those in need.

Here I see an opportunity to serve, empower and facilitate health from an organic perspective.

Too often we’re quick to thinking our health is a broken piece and we’re in need of a new piece to fix it.

This year more than ever, I vow to evolve the belief that symptoms do not mean you’re broken, but are a means of communication to change. I vow to facilitate reconnection & adaptability.

We shouldn’t ask WHAT is wrong, but discover & understand WHY. With the proper tools, our health can be revitalized and reintegrated. I welcome you all to experience this journey with me in 2022.

Spinal adjustments of CSMC problems impact motor control in a variety of ways. These include increasing muscle force and preventing fatigue. These changes in neuromuscular function most likely occur due to changes in supraspinal excitability. The current contemporary model of the CSMC problem, and o...

As we continue to venture through the pandemic and new variants, infection rates are still a problem. Many that have endured the virus!experienced what’s come to be called, the COVID hangover. People experience brain fog, congestion, breathing difficulty, etc. These people require full support to fully recover from this awful disease.

Brain fog is often a disconnect of ones mental state with their physical state. Congestion after being infected is a result of the overwhelmed defense systems of the body trying to eliminate the virus. Breathing is a mechanical process that expands and pumps the rib cage and spine thousands of times per day. Respiratory infections disrupts this pumping making it difficult to get a proper breath.

Body work is essential for these people to fully recover. As a chiropractor, we can offer support by restoring proper rib cage mechanics, improve lymphatic drainage, and facilitate reconnection. Take care of yourselves and know there’s many forms of help out there for all victims of COVID!

Are all headaches migraines?

Tension headaches are often paired with neck pain due to higher loads of stress put on the neck and head. They can have a referral pattern behind the head and/or around the eye. Migraines are more intense, can get worse with activity, and often cause nausea. Migraines can even have a warning, called an aura, where you see blind spots or flashes. Simply put, headaches are more mechanical and migraines are more neurological.

According to WHO, headache on 15 or more days every month affects 1.7–4% of the world’s adult population. To provide the best support, we need to know precisely what we’re dealing with.
Knowing these differences can help you manage things more effectively. Fortunately, chiropractic offers a method of treatment that directly affects both mechanical and neurological sides of the problem.

Muscle tightness does not always require manual/muscle work. It’s necessary to understand why that tension exists. Muscles have the ability to measure tension and compression. Tension stretches and makes muscle tissue longer. Compression tightens and makes muscle tissue shorter.

Muscle work is useful when muscles are compressed and shortened. Often when movement irritates shortened muscles they need help gliding through ranges of motion. Muscle activation and balance are more effective for muscles in tension. Tensioned muscles are aggravated by specific postures and body positions. They require more stability so they don’t tear.

Above all, the chiropractic adjustment acts as a hard reset to all involved parts. No matter whether there is compression or tension, the specific delivery of the adjustment can reboot the wiring and introduce ease and balance.

The secret is about knowing why to do something. This will improve your recovery and ability to adapt for anything down the road.
