Tallahatchie General Hospital & Extended Care Facility Tallahatchie General Hospital & Extended Care Facility Also, 94 of the 98 rooms are PRIVATE. The Horizon is offered Monday - Friday.

TGH is a Critical Access Hospital currently with 18 Acute/Swingbed Rooms and a 98 bed Long Term Care. 40 of the 98 beds are reserved for our NEW SECURE Special Care Unit. TGH recently open "The Horizon" and outpatient counseling center which assist the senior adult population to return to an emotional and mental well-being. The Horizon is designed to provide out-patient therapy in a comfortable, home like environment. Patients are provided three group sessions per day with a licensed therapist. A board certified psychiatrist visits the clinic once per week for medication management and individual sessions. All services provided by The Horizon are ordered and reviewed by our physician. Patients participate in the program for approximately 3 hours, 2 to 4 days per week. Tallahatchie Extended Care
