March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month 💙

Colorectal cancer is the third most commonly diagnosed cancer in both men and women in the United States, but it is also one of the most preventable with appropriate screening.

In 2013, Dr. Patton was diagnosed with Stage IIID colon cancer. After three surgeries and six months of chemotherapy, he is proud to be a survivor.

His experience continues to fuel his passion for patient education, prevention, and early detection.

If you are due for screening or experiencing symptoms, talk with your healthcare provider about whether a colonoscopy is right for you.
