Calling all health professions students! 👉 Tune into the last IPC seminar of the semester covering the importance of antimicrobial stewardship and the role of the healthcare team in ensuring patients understand this issue. We'll go over the clinical background of this topic as well as practical approaches supported by the entire treatment team. We'll also explore a case scenario at the end which will include social drivers that impact patients' health around this issue.

On Friday, October 17th, seven future healthcare leaders—three Lowcountry AHEC Scholar MUSC Physician Assistant students and four USC Beaufort nursing students—stepped into the world of high-stakes medicine during a High-Fidelity Patient Simulation experience!

From critical thinking to teamwork under pressure, these scholars put their skills to the test in a realistic clinical environment designed to mirror real-life patient care. Simulations like these are vital for preparing the next generation of providers to deliver safe, compassionate, and effective care.

Huge kudos to these students for embracing the challenge and showing what the future of healthcare looks like!
