We wanted to share that, like many other healthcare/dental facilities, we are OPEN, but taking precautions. PLEASE take the time to read the following information that offices are putting out, including Charleston Dentistry:
1. We will be screening during phone calls and check-ins about any symptoms experienced recently by our patients.
2. To avoid cluttering the waiting rooms, we ask that any family and friends of patients wait in their vehicles while their party is in treatment.
3. Additionally, we ask that any patients over the age of 60 wait in their vehicles until we are ready to bring you back for treatment. Please check in up front, and then we will let you know when we are ready to bring you back to the treatment rooms. This virus seems to be most dangerous for those patients over 60, so we want to take extra precautions with your health.
4. We will be asking that you wash your hands thoroughly on the way back to the treatment rooms.
5. As always, we will be very thorough with our universal precautions around sterilization and disinfecting. Please know that this virus is easily destroyed by disinfecting, and we are very well stocked with the appropriate materials to make sure your treatment room is ready for safe patient care. Note that because supply is limited for purchase, however, that we will not be able to give items like masks and gloves out to our patients after treatment. We need to continue to ensure that we are very well stocked for the next patients.
As updates continue to come in from the governing healthcare bodies and organizations, we will update our policies to always be on the front line of safety. If something should change with your scheduled appointments, we will be the first to tell you.
Thank you for your patience with us at this time, as it is our #1 goal to create a safe and professional way for you to receive the excellent dental healthcare services that you are accustomed to.
Stay safe and healthy!
