Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and caring Certified Medical Assistant 2 to join our Primary Care team in Nitro. This role will support providers and staff in both clinical and administrative duties to ensure excellent patient care and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and register patients; verify insurance and payment information
Take and record vital signs; obtain specimens; perform point-of-care lab testing
Assist healthcare providers during exams and minor procedures
Maintain exam rooms; ensure equipment and supplies are stocked and ready
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing, phone triage, and handling patient records
Mentor or support CMA Level 1 staff as needed

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Active certification: CMA or RMA
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience in a clinical setting preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Shift / Schedule: Full-time; Days; may include some overtime or on-call duties as necessary
