Family night at College of Charleston basketball, made even more special as they took on Drexel University, where my daughter is a student. Proudly sporting Drexel colors while enjoying great basketball, great company, and the kind of moments that remind us why family always comes first.

Honored to serve as outgoing President and keynote speaker at the 40th Anniversary of the Charleston Chapter of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity.

Founded in 1904 in Philadelphia, Sigma Pi Phi, also known as the Boulé, is the oldest Black Greek-letter organization in the United States. It is a graduate fraternity rooted in scholarship, leadership, and service, with membership extended by invitation to individuals committed to excellence and impact.

Celebrating four decades of brotherhood, legacy, and service in Charleston was both humbling and deeply meaningful. Grateful for the opportunity to lead, to reflect, and to help carry forward the mission of an organization that continues to shape communities and history.

Exciting news for healthcare in the Lowcountry! 🌟

The Medical University of South Carolina has broken ground on the Nexton Center, a cutting-edge facility featuring both a hospital and a cancer center.

The University also recently held a ribbon cutting(see big a__ scissors) for The MUSC Kiawah Partners Pavillion. This facility will feature specialty care clinics, an emergency department, and a medevac helipad to residents of the barrier Islans community.

Dr. W. Melvin “Mel” Brown III, Vice Chairman of the MUSC Board of Trustees, joined community leaders to mark this milestone, underscoring the dedication of local physicians to advancing care close to home.

Reflecting on an exciting start to 2025! I opened my MDVIP-affiliated primary care practice on Charleston’s Upper Peninsula and it’s been incredibly rewarding to focus on personalized, proactive healthcare, spending more time with patients, emphasizing lifestyle and preventive care, and helping our community live each day with more strength and confidence.
