Meet Hudson! Cancer free and rang the bell last month!!! ππππππ
This past spring, our lives changed in an instant. What we thought was a simple arm injury led to a diagnosis no parent is ever prepared for. Our five year old son, Hudson, was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer.
From the very beginning, Hudson faced everything with courage far beyond his years. Through months of chemotherapy, hospital stays, scans, and procedures, he continued to smile, laugh, and remind us what true strength looks like.
After six rounds of chemo, we traveled to Memorial Sloan Kettering for limb salvage surgery. In a 15 hour operation, doctors removed the tumor and reconstructed his arm. Surgery was successful with clear margins, and his pathology showed a strong response to treatment.
Hudson continued to fight through recovery and completed his final chemotherapy in February. In March, we received the words we had been praying for. His scans were clear. And on March 18, 2026, Hudson rang the bell.
While his journey is not over and a minor surgery is ahead, we are stepping into this next chapter with hope, gratitude, and unwavering faith. Hudson has shown us that even in the hardest moments, light still shines.
We are beyond thankful for the incredible medical teams, our family and friends, and everyone who has walked alongside us. Most of all, we thank God for carrying us through.
Hudsonβs story is one of resilience, strength, and hope, and we truly believe the best is still ahead.
