Congratulations, Amari Jefferson!

We are so proud to celebrate Amari Jefferson, who has officially graduated from Albany State University with her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree!

Amari has been an invaluable part of our Clinician in Training Program here at MBS, where she dedicated her time, heart, and skills to learning and growing as a compassionate, impactful therapist.

I’m especially proud because Amari isn’t just an intern—she’s my niecey poo, my baby girl! Watching you blossom into the amazing woman and clinician you are today has been amazing to witness.

Your commitment to this work, your clients, and your professional growth has been inspiring to witness. I can’t wait to see all the incredible things you’ll continue to accomplish as you step fully into the field of social work.

Pregnancy and infant loss can feel extremely isolating, but you are not alone in this experience. It’s only recently that we’ve started to speak about this topic publicly in our culture, and we want to continue the momentum of making your stories heard.❤️

About 1 in 160 pregnancies ends in stillbirth.

Up to 1 in 4 women may experience pregnancy loss in some form during their reproductive years.
