My Reason Why
From the beginning, I have always had a strong desire to be the hardest working person in the room. Whether that be in school as a child, in sports growing up, or in my place of employment at the time; I always made sure my work ethic was one step above everyone else. This desire to work hard, came from the bigger craving to be successful.
Fast forward to college graduation, I found myself truly lost in what I wanted to do next. Through college, I worked two (sometimes three) jobs at a time, serving and bartending, all while pursuing my degrees in biology and medical lab sciences. When graduation came knocking, I realized I didn’t know what I wanted to do next. I had worked so hard to finish school early, pay my bills, afford my tuition, study, that I hadn’t taken the time to truly think about what I wanted for myself and my future. I had come to the realization that despite my interest and knowledge I had gained regarding the medical field, that maybe it wasn’t for me after all. I should have known better when the sight of blood brought me crashing to the floor and into a cold sweat--Nevertheless, the healthcare system still sparked an interest with me. After bartending all these years and talking to people day in and night out, I also found that I truly love people. I love talking to people, helping people, and building relationships with the customers I had day after day. Creating these relationships and building trust with my customers was my mission. I had decided I had to find a career where I could put the two things I loved most, together.
I have recently relocated from my small hometown in northern MN, down to the big city of Atlanta, GA. If this wasn’t a big enough change in itself, I am now self employed.
This allows me to continue to be the hardest working person in the room, all while building the life I had only dreamed of living. I get to help other people every day with the one thing that every person in the world needs--health insurance. Not only do I get to speak about the ins and outs of our healthcare systems, but I also get to educate others as well. I pride myself on making sure each client I talk to fully understands how their plan works, before they make any commitment. Building relationships and trust with each of my clients is also one of my main goals and focus. Navigating your insurance can be stressful, confusing, and hard. Having someone you can trust, guide you through your options can help alleviate unwanted stress and make a once painful process, incredibly simple.
