The inaugural ✨ Wombs of the Earth, Daughters of the Soil ✨ retreat is next June! MTH will be in attendance to present on How My Body Moves

How My Body Moves focuses on methods to listen and honor our body through movement. With a background in Yoga, Athletic Training, Dance, and Stretch Therapy, Alexis will educate on identifying various physiological sensations in the body, understanding what information each sensation can give, and utilizing this information to plan for safe, healthy, and aligned ways to move the body.

One thing I’m working on is defining my voice and my choice. In order to do that, it takes knowing what noise is coming from the outside world, and what noise is coming from myself.

Spend time with you. Ask yourself questions, and work through the discomfort of hearing your own thoughts, feeling your feelings, and seeing the pieces of you that can be so easy to run from.
