If you’ve been here a while you know that it all started with wig making and then morphed into the unique and beautiful thing that it is today.

I have met some really amazing people along this journey and heard some inspiring stories of triumph and the resilience of everyday people.

📌September 14, 2014 was the day I stepped out and did a thing! Fear, uncertainty, reluctance and despair are the feelings I vividly recall. Many twists, turns, highs and lows later, I’m still pushing, growing and evolving🦋🦋💫

This experience has changed my life tremendously and I can’t imagine doing anything else …. I can’t wait to see what’s next‼️

I’ll never forget this time back in 2020…. I was so nervous!!! T.V???? Who me?? Talking about something I created to help others… what!! 🤯 🤯
That year a lot of things changed for me (good and bad). This opportunity came at a time of isolation. Not just my own isolation but when the whole world was shut down. I don’t think that was a coincidence. You see, had this opportunity presented itself to me when things were “normal” I probably would have said no, or better yet, the opportunity may have never come my way.
It’s so funny because I remember when I first set out to become an entrepreneur …I had no clients, no money, no vision and no idea what I was doing. I went and bought a radio ad in my local city…. (2014) and this was at a time before social media became what it is today. It was a 30 second slot designed to promote my business, highlighting my custom wigs. It ran for about 2 - 3weeks and needless to say… it was a major waste of money. Not because radio ads were ineffective, but because I was not ready! Not ready mentally, physically, nor financially. That was $700 I tossed down the drain because I thought I could skip ahead of the line to success😩.

I’m not where I want to be yet but I have learned some valuable lessons along the way. The biggest lesson so far is to never give up on me!
It’s not other people’s responsibility to believe in me… it’s MY responsibility to believe in me! Support from others is great but it will only take you so far.
I look back now and I can laugh at all of the ridiculous stuff I tried. Those things didn’t work but I learned a lot about me. I learned a lot about my strength and resilience and that sometimes you have to pat your own damn self on the back. And then …… get up and keep walking forward. I’m still walking… by faith… just God and me. I question myself, I get discouraged, I get tired … but I’m gonna keep walking.
Whoever’s reading this… keep walking, keep believing, keep dreaming and don’t ever give up on you💫
