Knowledge is power!💡
gave us so much more than just knowledge, they gave us resources, access, community,* and a true *sense of belonging!

From exploring Charlotte’s rich history with community historian , to understanding city vs. county responsibilities and diving into Government 101 & Budget 101 with ; every session opened new doors of insight.

We learned how Charlotte champions economic growth as a hub for Fortune 500 & Fortune 1000 companies with and how celebrates and supports the city’s vibrant creative community.

We also explored sustainability efforts, education through and charter schools, and community health and human services led by organizations like and . Plus, we discovered incredible local nonprofits such as that continue to make a difference across the city.

I’m truly in awe of all I’ve learned. From navigating my way through uptown and learning this information, my perspective on Charlotte has grown, and I’ve seen firsthand the power of partnership, leadership, and community.
