This year more than ever we need to be especially intentional about connection. What are some of your favorite traditions? Maybe you find yourself unable to do the things you would normally do. Use this time to create new traditions with the people you love. The holidays may be a little smaller this year, but they can still be special. Think of what this time of year means, and how you can create these rituals of connection. I loved one example of this that I saw recently on tv. A grandmother was teaching her grandchildren on zoom how to bake cookies. They were all in different places but they were able to create the experience of being with grandma in the kitchen. Prayers for you all during this time of year. Let’s sow joy the rest of 2020.✨

Today is the final day to get your vote in! Here are some tips to help you get through your time at the polls. After casting your ballot give yourself permission to disconnect from all the stress of today. Protect your mental health and use the time after recharge. Spend time with family and friends or alone. Explore other conversations outside of politics. Spend time enjoying nature. However, you choose to spend the day I am praying for peace and safety for everyone.
