Emotional regulation doesn’t mean avoiding your feelings. 🌿
It’s about creating space to stay present while giving your emotions room to be felt and nurtured.

Imagery is a gentle way to practice steadiness whether it’s picturing a safe place, visualizing your calmer self, or letting emotions drift like leaves on water.

Try one of these practices the next time you need a reset.

🎉🎉🎉Celebrating 5 years in Business🎉🎉🎉🎉

🎊5 years ago today, I took a leap of faith and stepped headfirst into private practice with no business background, just passion, vision, and belief.

Every part of this journey has been self-taught. Every lesson earned. Every step intentional.

As I sit in reflection, I am in awe of what it means to be a small business owner. This journey has awakened parts of me I never knew existed, resilience, courage, creativity, and trust. I am grateful for the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

I chose the name Serenic from the word 🌱serene 🌱 because I believe that growing, evolving, and healing though hard at times can still feel steady, grounding, and peaceful.

In this work, I’ve had the honor of walking alongside people from all paths of life. And one thing always stands out: your resiliency, your commitment, and your growth.

To my incredible clients who continue to choose “me” on their healing journey, thank you. I am forever grateful for you.

Let’s continue to grow and heal together.

Five years🌱. And just getting started. 🤍

🦋Gentle truth🦋
The life you want will require discipline.
Not motivation — discipline.

Healing requires discipline.
Boundaries require discipline.
Rest requires discipline.

There isn’t a shortcut.
Only consistency.

👉🏾Learning to trust yourself doesn’t start with certainty.
It starts with small actions you keep showing up for.

Every time you follow through on what you said you’d do even imperfectly your system learns: I’m safe with me. I can count on me.

Self-trust isn’t a feeling you wait for.
It’s built through evidence.

What’s one small action you can take today to keep showing up for yourself?

🌱If you’re noticing a slow start on your goals this year, it’s okay you are not behind🌱
Your nervous system is likely catching up after a demanding season.
You don’t need to force a fresh start with big goals or resolutions.
You’re allowed to ease into this year at a pace that feels steady and sustainable.
Slowness can still move you forward just differently.

🤍What’s one thing you’re allowing to unfold more slowly right now?

🌱Last year was a season of preparation and learning for me.
This year feels like a season of action and implementation.🌱

I’m noticing how easy it is to rush past the quieter seasons or judge them as “not enough,” when they’re often doing important work beneath the surface.

✨What season are you in right now?
✨And what might it look like to trust it a little more?

🌱Closing this year with a grateful heart. And lots of lessons🌱

As this year comes to a close, take a moment to notice what you survived not just what you achieved.

The growth that didn’t make it to social media still counts.

The boundaries you learned to set matter.
The patterns you became aware of matter too, even if major changes haven’t happened yet.

✨The version of you who kept going deserves acknowledgment✨

You don’t need a perfect year to give yourself permission to let go and move forward.
Here’s to stepping into the new year with more self-trust, clarity, and compassion. 🤍

🌱Gentle Reminder: Growth isn’t linear-and sometimes it’s subtle 🌱
Some days you feel strong, clear, and confident.
Other days old patterns resurface and it feels like you’re back at the beginning.
That doesn’t mean you’re failing, it means you’re human.
Healing often looks like circling back with more awareness, it still means progress is being made.

Setbacks don’t erase progress.
They reveal what still needs care✨

In therapy, we often pause to name progress you didn’t realize you were making.

Comment “me” if you’re learning to trust your own timeline

🌱The hidden message behind your anxiety🌱

Anxiety is often your nervous system’s way of signaling that something feels unsafe, overwhelming, or unresolved.
It can show up when you’ve been carrying too much for too long, ignoring your emotional needs, or living in a state of constant fight or flight.

Instead of asking, “How do I make this stop?” Or trying to avoid it.
Try asking, “What is my body asking for right now?”

Awareness creates regulation.
Understanding creates space for relief.

🌱Some emotions can be difficult to name. So they show up in our behaviors and patterns🌱
Guilt looks like overdoing.
Shame can look like silence, hiding, withdrawing.
Resentment feels like exhaustion.
Disappointment shows up as numbness.

Naming what you feel is the first step toward clarity.

✨The inability to look at yourself honestly is often what holds you back the most.
Not because you’re incapable…
but because growth requires truth.
The more willing you are to see your patterns, your fears, and your part in the story,
the more room you create for your own greatness to emerge.✨

🌱If you’re feeling stuck, start with honesty.
That’s where things begin to unravel and shift🌱

✨When you suppress your emotions, they don’t quietly dissolve✨
They show up as irritability, burnout, overthinking, shutdown, or disconnection from people you care about.

Suppression feels safe in the moment, but expression is what creates relief, clarity, and connection.
Your emotions aren’t trying to overpower you.
They’re trying to tell you something. Lean in.
Become curious when you feel yourself shutting down.

Give yourself permission to Feel it, name it, release it.

CTA: Try naming one emotion today without trying to fix it🌱
