Terminology Tuesday! 😀

You may hear about your PSA during routine checkups. While everyone has small amounts of PSA in their blood, higher levels can signal changes in the prostate, such as prostate cancer, BPH (enlarged prostate), or prostatitis (inflammation).

A simple blood test helps your care team track PSA levels to monitor prostate health, assist in early detection, and evaluate treatment progress.

New research shows why Sonablate® HIFU stands out as a leading focal therapy for localized prostate cancer. In a multi-center study of 240 patients followed up to 7 years, Sonablate® HIFU delivered strong cancer control while preserving quality of life.

The result?
- Most patients avoided surgery or radiation.
