“When Performance Collapses, It’s Not a Mindset Issue. It’s a Memory Issue.”

Athletes often struggle to name what’s wrong.
The movement used to be effortless—now it feels like pushing through sand.

That’s not laziness or burnout.
It’s often a trauma response stored in the nervous system.

This guide covers:
• What performance blocks actually are
• How EMDR helps restore muscle memory
• What “loss movement syndrome” means in sports
• Why this work isn’t about fixing—you’re not broken

If you’ve ever felt like your body betrayed your brain, you’re not alone.

“This isn’t a slump. It’s a nervous system issue.”

When athletes get blocked, it often sounds like:

“I could do this last month—why can’t I now?”
“It’s not nerves, it’s like my body won’t respond.”
“I know what to do. But I freeze.”

That’s not a lack of effort.
That’s the nervous system protecting you from something it still hasn’t processed.

In EMDR, we look for the root moment—that one incident, cue, or emotion that shifted everything.

Once it’s cleared?
The block breaks.
The body remembers.

Performance returns. And so does confidence.

“Attachment Wounds Don’t Just Show Up in Romance—They Show Up Everywhere.”

Most people think attachment issues are just about dating.
But they also show up:
• In how you take feedback at work
• In how you navigate friendships
• In how you regulate conflict—or avoid it entirely

This guide breaks down:
• What attachment trauma really is
• How EMDR can target those relational wounds
• What healing looks like when reactions begin to shift

This isn’t about becoming detached.
It’s about becoming emotionally clear—so you can relate without losing yourself.

Attachment trauma isn’t always obvious.
It shows up in how you react to others’ emotions.
In how you shut down—or overexplain.
In how you read between the lines before anyone says a word.

One of the biggest surprises in therapy is realizing that workplace anxiety, social avoidance, and over-apologizing can all be signs of attachment wounds—not personality flaws.

When attachment work starts to click, clients begin saying:

“Maybe I don’t have to assume what they meant.”
“Maybe I’m allowed to feel safe before reacting.”

That’s not detachment.
That’s growth.

“Breaking Generational Trauma Isn’t About Confrontation. It’s About Capacity.”

Not all trauma is loud.
Some of it lives in the emotional rules we were taught.
The guilt we inherit. The boundaries we never learned.

In this guide, I break down:
• What generational trauma actually is
• How to recognize it in your family dynamics
• Why healing doesn’t require conflict
• How to start setting boundaries that feel true to you

This work isn’t about calling people out.
It’s about showing up differently—without asking for permission.

So many clients come in saying:

“I love my family, but they stress me out.”
“I don’t want to go home for the holidays.”
“I feel like I turn into someone else around them.”

And then they ask: “Isn’t everyone’s family like this?”

Nope. Not like this.

Generational trauma often looks like emotional rules that got passed down:
What you’re allowed to say.
What you’re expected to ignore.
What kind of love gets withheld until you perform.

This kind of trauma doesn’t always scream.
Sometimes it just settles in—until something in you says, “I don’t want to pass this down.”

That’s the work.
Not changing them.
Changing how you relate to them.

“What Is Trauma Therapy—And How Do You Know If You Need It?”

Trauma isn’t just about one big event.
Sometimes it’s a slow accumulation of stress, chaos, or emotional absence that your system never got to process.

In this guide, I walk you through:
• What trauma actually is (and what it’s not)
• The different types of trauma therapy available
• How EMDR works to resolve stuck emotional patterns
• What to expect when you begin the work

If you’ve ever thought, “I don’t know if this counts as trauma,”—this is for you.

You don’t have to wait for a crisis to get support.
You just have to notice that something doesn’t feel right—and trust that there’s a way through.

I use this metaphor all the time in session:
• Big T trauma? That’s like eating a few massive pancakes.
• Little t trauma? It’s like stacking thin crepes—small, but they add up.
• Either way? Your system is full.

You don’t need to justify whether it was “big enough” to count.
If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, numb, reactive…
It counts.

This is how trauma accumulates—quietly, consistently, and without always making a scene.

🍽 Trauma isn’t just about the event.
It’s about the impact on your system.

“Does Online Therapy Really Work?”

Online therapy used to feel like a compromise.
Now? It’s a lifeline—for professionals, athletes, and high-functioners who need support that fits their life.

In this guide, I break down:
• How online therapy actually works
• Why EMDR can be just as effective virtually
• What to look for when choosing the right provider
• How to know if virtual care is right for you

If you’ve been on the fence—or assuming it “won’t feel the same”—this is for you.

Online therapy doesn’t mean less connection—just less leg.

People are still surprised to hear this, but:
Yes, EMDR works online.
Yes, it’s just as effective.
No, you don’t need to be in the same room to have meaningful change.

If I’m doing great virtual therapy, it feels like a conversation over coffee—deep, clear, present.
The only real difference?
I can’t see your feet.
And I don’t want to.

Trauma work is about what’s happening internally, not what chair you’re sitting in.

✨ If you’ve been holding off on therapy because it “has to be in person,” you might be surprised what opens up when the setting isn’t a barrier.

“What’s the Best Type of Therapy for Anxiety?”

Anxiety isn’t just a mental state.
It’s a nervous system stuck in go-mode.
And there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to healing it.

This guide breaks down:
- The different types of anxiety and how they show up
- The most effective treatments backed by research
- How to know if EMDR, CBT, somatic work, or mindfulness is right for you
- What actually helps high-functioners, not just textbook cases

If your brain won’t stop looping—and you’ve tried “just managing it”—this guide is for you.

Mother’s Day can bring up a lot—joy, grief, confusion, guilt.
Especially if your relationship with your mother (or family) is complicated.

You love them. You appreciate them.
And… you still feel drained after every visit.
You still second-guess your boundaries.
You still carry tension that lingers for days.

This doesn’t mean you’re broken. It means your nervous system has learned to stay alert—even around the people you love.

I work with high-functioning professionals who want to understand why family interactions trigger so much anxiety—and how to finally feel at peace in their own skin.

You can heal without cutting people off. You can create space without guilt. You can rewrite the patterns you didn’t choose.

I use EMDR to help clients get relief in weeks—not years.
If that sounds like what you’ve been looking for, let’s talk. Consults are free.
