appreciation post 🌈🫶

For those of you who don’t know, took a chance on me starting in their space back in 2023 (because a circus-themed brewery deserves to have aerial shows) 🎪

Since then, we’ve hosted 15 shows, with 4,000+ attendees in their South End location in Charlotte 🙌

Outside of shows, they show up for our community by:
- Hosting markets and events for other small businesses
- Helping doggos find their new homes by partnering with local dog rescues
- Giving back to a variety of local non-profits

They also have so many great beverage options (beer, wine, seltzers, cocktails, mocktails, THC/CBD bevvies, cider, slushies, Jell-O shots — you name it, they have it!) 🍻

Plus, the staff rocks so hard 👏

Anyway, feeling grateful for this queer-friendly, dog-friendly, circus-inspired space in South End 🥰 Thanks for being a happy space for so many folks ✨

Oh, we’re doing 2016 throwbacks? That was the year we launched 🍻💪

Yep, WFYB turns 10 years old this year 😮

Things are now very different:
1. is living her best life in Amsterdam
2. is drinking less beer and doing more aerial at breweries (shameless plug for )
3. Instagram is now a reel machine vs. the simple square photo grid
4. We no longer maintain the ultimate guide to beer fitness in Charlotte 🥲 (We photographed and listed EVERY SINGLE brewery fitness event in Charlotte back then — that was no small feat)
5. We sold wayyyyyy more merch back then (hmu if you want some merch, y’all, I’ve got plenty!)

Life has evolved for many of us, but I loved the early days of WFYB 🫶

I’m not going to lie, I’m a sucker for a mocktail (during Dry January and just generally throughout the year), and I love seeing breweries get in on the action 🫶

Get out and support your local breweries — January is a tough month for them, and even just grabbing a non-alcoholic beverage, a gift card, or some merch will help them out 🙏
