I am looking for a new room to rent for my massage practice. After 6 amazing years at a the Torringdon office complex, the Chiropractor I sublease my room from is moving and won't have space for me.

NEEDED:
Minimum 10 x12 feet
Must have a window
NOT A SALON LOFT type space
Full access, no shared rooms
Full-time availability

LOCATION:
Between Johnston and Providence road exists.

Health related facility would be great, but absolutely nonessential. If a CPA or Realty company has an extra room, that would be perfect!

Quiet, low foot traffic, no smells (hence no Salon Lofts), safe and Ballantyne specific is what I'm looking for!

Huge shout out to for attention to the industry!

My 15+ years of hands on experience and thousands of clients will agree. Massage isn't just a 'girls day at the spa' frivolous expense.

I have the privilege of working with hundreds of clients every year who have been through every therapy, taken all the drugs, and are still in pain.

Nothing can replace therapeutic, clinical bodywork.

It's not just the manual work..

During a massage, an individual must practice RECEIVING. They acknowledge their needs. They accept care. They learn about their body....this can promote healing in many ways. Physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Class Details:
This class will provide you with techniques, tools, and theory to have a positive impact on each system, joint, and muscle of the body.

*Know and describe the most common pain patterns experienced by the general public
*Know and describe common muscle groups involved in compensation
*Know the difference between hypertonic, ischemic and fibrotic tissue
*Understand the planes of the body and their patterns of dysfunction in relation to external femoral rotation and shoulder pronation
*Be able to describe and demonstrate methods of improving each tissue state

Walk away from this class with skills to positively affect any presentation your client walks in with.

There will be enough muscle, fascia, and lymph techniques to fill a two-hour session. Abdominal massage routine and tongue release are included. There will also be training on dynamic cupping, facial cupping, massage gun, hot oil scalp treatment, and more!

All tools are provided for training.
You will give and receive a full two hour session on day 2.

PF..if you've had it, you know how difficult it can be to function!

There are so many contributing factors, and they mostly add up over time to create daily pain.

From scraping, rolling, and laser therapy, to literally cutting the plantar fascia, individuals seeking help are not getting relief.

I have had so many clients change this within a few days. Regardless of how the tissue came to the state it's in, if you can regularly flush blood and lymph there, it will improve!!

And yes, I said it, peri/menopause is not the cause of plantar fasciitis, and HRT will not fix it.

2 hour massage!? YES, PLEASE!

I'd actually take about 2.5 hours with all of the tools used in this session.

Having longer time in each muscle group allows for more in-depth work, not only with the muscle, fascia, tendons, and ligaments but, more importantly, the nervous system.

As bodyworkers, when we begin to see (feel) the body as an electrical and fluid system, we get even better work done! Each client has a "soup mixture" of previous injuries, medications, trauma, and movement patterning. Having tools and techniques at our disposal assures us the ability to have a positive effect on every client we have the honor of working with.

Included in this session:
-Theragun for vibration at the beginning of the session. Relaxing the nervous system (think, rocking a baby as soon as you pick them up.)
-Dynamic Cupping. Different than the 'leave the cups on until you are red and purple', dynamic cupping uses gliding and gentle pulling to encourage a negative pressure that promotes blood/lymph into eschemic areas, taking tensions away from joints, nerves, tendons.
-Facial Cupping. Same as above, just smaller, more gentle cups. Especially helpful for cranial nerves and lymph draining.
-Hot oil scalp treatment. A blend of essential oils in Jojoba oil is applied, and then scalp massage tools are used to massage each section of the cranial body.
