Happy Birthday to Dolly!! Today we transformed Waltonwood to Dollywood. We celebrated the whole day by doing things like “What’s Your Cowboy/Cowgirl Name”, went to the Cracker Barrel, and had a Dolly themed happy hour and themed dinner with a shrimp and grit action station.

Santa and his reindeer came to Waltonwood today and came bearing gifts! He spread holiday cheer across the community.

We toured the Veterans museum and had a delicious BBQ lunch for our Korean War veteran Don. He even got a new shirt and hat!

In Independent Living, we capped off our week celebrating 100 years of The Great Gatsby with a 1920’s themed happy hour. Our book club read and discussed Fitzgerald’s great American novel and we watched two movies with different takes on the book. 🥂
