Let me say this plainly.

Being a person of faith does not mean being exhausted for God.

Somewhere along the way, many of us started equating holiness with overextension.

Always available.
Always fixing.
Always the strong one.
Always saying yes.

But Jesus rested.

He withdrew from crowds.
He didn’t heal every person in one day.
He didn’t respond to every demand immediately.

And He is not asking you to either.

You don’t get extra grace for running yourself into the ground.

You don’t get bonus favor for ignoring your limits.

Rest is not rebellion.

Boundaries are not selfish.

Forgiveness is not weakness.

Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is stop…
forgive what needs forgiving…
release what isn’t yours…
and walk forward with purpose.

This season is not about proving how much you can carry.

It’s about becoming who God is shaping you to be.

Move differently.

Walk lighter.

And stop apologizing for protecting your peace.

Hey Facebook Family,

Friends, I need your help for a minute.

I’m working on a special presentation, and I’m sitting with the title.

If you saw this on a big stage, which one would make you stop and listen?

1) Burnout Isn’t a Breakdown. It’s a Boundary Crisis
2) Strong, Silent, and Suffering: The Burden of Black Excellence and Emotional Suppression
3) Dancing Through Pain: Finding Joy and Therapy in Unexpected Places
4) The Cost of Being the Strong One

I know which direction I’m leaning… but I really want to hear your gut reaction.

Which one pulls you in?

It definitely reflects a premium level of service and patient experience.

Ladies…

We are down to about 13 tickets before the Pajama Day Party is officially sold out.

And this one feels sacred.

This is not about noise.
Not about networking.
Not about performing.

This is for us to exhale.

To breathe deeply.

To sit in a room where you don’t have to hold everything together.

To reconnect with God slowly.
Honestly.
Without being needed by anyone for a few hours.

If your spirit has been whispering, “I need this”…

This is your invitation.

When these last seats are filled, the room is set.

If you know you’re supposed to be there, don’t wait.

Grab your seat with the link below:

Come rest.
Come receive.

I cannot wait to see what God does in this room. 🤍

Rock bottom isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it’s quiet.

It looks like going through the motions.
Leading well… while feeling empty inside.

Nothing changed the day things felt heavy.
Things changed the day I stopped pretending they weren’t.

That’s when I brought it to Jesus.

Not polished.
Not put together.
Just honest.

Then I did the work.
Little by little.
Truth by truth.

Clarity came first.
Healing followed.

And here’s what I know now:

The heavy seasons are not proof that you’re failing.
They are invitations to love yourself more honestly.

This month, while the world talks about romance,
I’m thinking about a different kind of love.

The kind that tells the truth.
The kind that sets boundaries.
The kind that chooses peace.

Happy Love Month.

May this be the season you love yourself with the same loyalty you give everyone else. 🤍

The PJ Party didn’t begin as an event.
It began as a need.

A need for women to pause without explanation.
To rest without performance.
To choose connection over productivity.

The PJ Party is still that space.
A sacred morning to slow down, reconnect with God, and remember who you are beneath everything you carry.

Come comfortable.
Come open.
Come as you are.

If you feel the nudge, you’re invited.
20 Tickets are available.

I’m opening a very small early-access space, quietly.

If you’ve supported my work in the past (through purchasing something, attending an event, or supporting in another way) and I don’t already have your email, please send me a message with the email you’d like me to use.

This isn’t a public launch, and I’m keeping it intentionally small.

A sincere thank you to those who have supported this space, it hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Years ago, a mentor said something to me that stopped me in my tracks.

He said, “Stop building relationships with people who need you.
Build relationships with people who want you.”

I didn’t like it at first.
If I’m honest, it made me uncomfortable.
Because it forced me to look at how I had been relating to people.

For a long time, I led with availability.
I showed up quickly.
I gave generously.
I made myself useful.

And without realizing it, many of my connections formed around what I could provide, not who I was.

That realization was hard.
Not because people were unkind.
But because I hadn’t yet learned how to love with limits.

I didn’t need thicker skin.
I needed something better.

I needed to learn how to:
• set boundaries without guilt
• give without disappearing
• stay open without self-abandoning

And here’s what I learned along the way:

Healthy, genuine relationships do exist.
They don’t require overgiving.
They don’t require exhaustion.
They don’t ask you to earn your place by being needed.

If this stirred something in you, if you’ve ever looked around and realized you’re surrounded by people who benefit from you but don’t truly see you, please hear this:

You’re not wrong for wanting more.
You’re not selfish for choosing differently.
You’re allowed to choose connections that are mutual, respectful, and life-giving.

And as we move through Love Week, I just want to say this:
May you feel deeply loved, seen, and supported, and may the love you give always include you, too.

Happy Love Week.
Sending love to each of you. 🤍

Most people focus on how they start their day.
Few pay attention to how they end it.

Your wind-up routine sets direction.
Your wind-down routine protects capacity.

How you close the day determines how much clarity you carry into the next one.

This isn’t about productivity.
It’s about stewardship.

When you honor both the beginning and the ending, you lead with more peace, presence, and purpose.

Small rhythms.
Big impact.

Kicking off my first stop of the year, and I couldn’t be more excited!

I’m headed to the Phenomenally BOW Conference, and my heart is already full knowing I’ll be in the room with powerful sisters who are ready to make real changes and take on the world.

There’s something special about gathering with women who are bold, open, and ready to grow-women who know this season is about alignment, impact, and purpose.

So grateful for the opportunity to be part of this space.
Let’s go, ladies, this is just the beginning. ✨

Maybe the Bible Isn’t What We’ve Been Taught to See…

Not a collection of inspirational quotes.
Not just history or tradition.

The Bible is an invitation into purposeful living.

When you actually begin to live what it teaches, something changes.
Not overnight.
Not magically.
But steadily and unmistakably.

Scripture doesn’t just speak to heaven someday.
It speaks to how we live, lead, build, decide, and steward right now.

It shows us how to live with wisdom.
How to lead with integrity.
How to order our lives with intention and peace.

I’ve seen this play out in my own life and work.
Not because I did everything perfectly.
But because I chose to align my decisions with God’s principles.

When you live according to His design, things begin to work the way they were meant to.
Clarity replaces confusion.
Purpose replaces striving.
Peace replaces pressure.

This isn’t about control.
It’s about alignment.

When you live God’s way, you don’t just work harder.
You live on purpose.

If this resonates, sit with it.
And when you’re ready, choose alignment over effort.
