On Saturday, the MTI staff was finally able to celebrate with our yearly staff party! We had staff from Charlotte, Raleigh/Durham, and Wilmington all come together to mix and mingle! There was lots of food, laughs, awards and raffle prizes! Thank you to everyone who made the effort to attend!

A few staff members teamed up the morning in order to volunteer at the Charlotte processing center for Operation Christmas Child! Our hearts were warmed seeing the magical work in order to provide gifts for children all around the world!!

Holiday crafts are a great way to work on OT skills! This week, patients have been working on cutting out different shaped ornaments, hole punching the top, lacing a ribbon through, and tearing washi tape to decorate it. Another activity is using a Q tip to paint on a tree! In this session, the student went a step above to use their pincer grasp to place sprinkles on spots of glue to decorate their tree!
