Turning articulation practice into play can make a big difference in how often and how willingly kids participate. Adding movement—like hopping from one spot to another— keeps kids engaged while still targeting their speech goals. When children are motivated and having fun, they’re more likely to practice, which supports skilled development over time. Play based practice doesn’t replace structured therapy, it supports carryover in a way that feels natural and doable at home.
