***This position is a sleep-over position with hours from 8:00 AM on Saturday to 8:00 AM on Monday. You can choose to work every other weekend or every weekend.***

Job Description/Responsibilities:
Maintain the health and safety of client(s) at all times.
Complete all necessary documentation a timely and accurate manner.
Provide assistance with acquisition, retention, or improvement in skills related to activities of daily living, such as personal grooming and cleanliness, bed making and household chores, eating and the preparation of food, and the social and adaptive skills necessary to enable the individual to reside in a non-institutional setting.
Provide habilitation, training and instruction coupled with elements of support, supervision and engaging participation to reflect the natural flow of training, practice of skills, and other activities as they occur during the course of the person's day.
Includes habilitation and training activities, as well as care and assistance with activities of daily living when the individual is dependent on others to ensure health and safety.
Provide assistance with achieving outcomes identified in the plan of service.
Provide support and supervision of the person's activities to sustain skills gained through habilitation and training.
Provide assistance; support, supervision, and monitoring that support the individual participating in home or community activities.
Provide Delegated Medical Tasks as assigned by the USS RN per Shining Star.
Responsible for supervision and support of the individual 24 hours per day when the participant is not engaged in other services.
The Residential Supports service requires both components habilitation and individual/personal care and is more than supervision of the participant.
Maintain confidentiality of client information by following applicable privacy laws.
Communicate regularly either verbally or written with USS personnel, Qualified Professionals, and clients as necessary.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. and at least one year of experience in a similar role.
Lives in or within commuting distance of Louisburg, North Carolina.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law and regulations.
Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
Valid Driver’s License and automotive insurance preferred.
A flexible schedule in order to meet the participant’s desired hours for services.
