We had such beautiful weather for our Oyster Roast. We celebrated with fellowship, food and fun. We are so thankful for all of the support! 🥰

Dear Friends,

The long awaited and anticipated Health Guidance OYSTER ROAST is returning on April 13, 2023. Little Church on the Lane is graciously opening their campus to our organization for this delicious and fun filled event. Our new neighbors at Chase Bank are offering the use of their parking lot for our parking needs. Very exciting!

Event Details:

Menu: Steamed oysters, clam chowder, bratwurst, vegetarian options, and Amelie’s desserts

Location: Little Church on the Lane (522 Moravian Lane, Charlotte, NC 28207)

Date: Thursday, April 13, 2023

Time: 6 PM

Tickets: $50 per person

RSVP requested by: April 6, 2023

We are very grateful to Amelie's French Bakery for donating desserts again this year!!!

The generosity of donations and of our volunteers means we can use money collected before and during the event to support more families dealing with a cancer diagnosis and other challenging medical issues.

This is the Abaco Bungalow Project, by far our biggest undertaking to date. Drawing designed by Lori Langdon of Indigo Ink (Raleigh, NC), building design and construction by Maurice White (Holden Beach NC), a long time resident of the Bahamas.
The Abaco Bungalow Project is a prefabbed mini home designed specifically for families who have lost their homes and lives due to the devastating blow of hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas. The idea behind the inexpensive mini home is to get families relocated on their properties so they can get back to their lives of work and school and interaction with neighbors while they begin the slow and arduous task of rebuilding their house and cleaning up their surroundings.
This size structure can easily house a family of four indefinitely!
