Each day, you’ll enjoy hundreds of acres of walkable nature: misty woodland hikes, lakeside strolls and garden excursions. At Givens, we began our celebration of MLK, Jr. Day early as a Platinum Sponsor of the MLK, Jr. Association of Asheville & Buncombe County's 45th Annual MLK Prayer Breakfast. Givens residents and teammates alike were inspired by the speakers and the lifelong commitment to justice, equality and the beloved community of our local association's Founder & President, Dr. Oralene Simmons.

Today is a special day of remembrance for us all as we remember the lessons of Dr. King and hope to continue his teachings through small, consistent acts of kindness and courage, whereby we lift each other up and embody the change we wish in the world.
